Confluence

The Brief:

Create internal Wiki resources which are easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing.

The Process:

I surveyed employees for feedback on the current Wiki pages and discovered that they found them too text heavy, hard to navigate and full of outdated information.

I also asked them to share websites they enjoyed browsing and researched my own for inspiration.

MOO had not moved to the latest version of Confluence so there were some restrictions to work with. However, using some custom CSS and options readily available I was able to mock up some concepts to pilot to a small group.

The Results:

I created and launched a number of internal Wiki pages which were user friendly and had great reception. Employees no longer found it overwhelming to utilise the resources and this project resulted in me running some training sessions to teach others in the business how to create their own styled pages.
